A Movement for Constitutional Order, Rule of Law and the Renewal of Civic Virtue
Founded in the tradition of the Roman Republic. Open to all citizens of conscience.
I
Constitutional government founded on the separation of powers, where authority is divided, balanced and answerable to the citizen.
II
Equal justice before the law, in which the rights of every citizen are secured and no person stands above the settled order.
III
Duty, participation and service to the common good — the willingness of citizens to give something of themselves to the Republic.

NOVUM is a non-partisan, lawful movement seeking to restore constitutional principles and civic engagement in modern Britain. We draw inspiration from Rome’s republican institutions — its councils, its magistracies, its enduring belief that the state belongs to its citizens. We work openly, within the law, for the renewal of the public thing.
Where we stand on written constitutional safeguards, the balance of powers, and the accountability of those who govern.
Enrolment for the coming year is now open to citizens of conscience. Learn how to join, contribute and take your place.
A full account of our inaugural assembly — the questions debated, the resolutions passed, and the work now before us.
Our founding document sets out the principles of republican government, the rights of citizens, and the obligations of those who seek to serve the Republic.

NOVUM affirms freedom of belief and respects the ancient Roman religious tradition as part of our cultural heritage. Members are welcome of all faiths and none.
To join NOVUM is to accept both a place and a duty. Membership means participation in our assemblies, a voice in our deliberations, and a share in the responsibilities of civic life — the ordinary, essential work of upholding the Republic.
